Michael Mullen of EMM Training in Positive Behaviour Limited is a licenced Senior Tutor for Team Teach, with many years’ experience of delivering training throughout Oxfordshire and as an inhouse trainer at the Mulberry Bush School.

Michael is licenced to deliver Team Teach Training throughout Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, West Berkshire and Gloucestershire.
Team Teach is accredited by The Institute of Conflict Management (ICM) and provides training for children and adult services in positive handling strategies through a whole setting holistic approach, working with leadership and management, actively committed to reducing restraint and risk.

Course Aims
About Michael
Having worked in the corporate/commercial sector for many years, I was delighted to give it up to become the main carer for my own three children in 2001. On my free days, I started to volunteer at the nearby Mulberry Bush School, which is a residential therapeutic school, which undertakes the care and education of emotionally troubled and traumatised children from across England. Over the years I became further integrated into the school and had the privilege of working alongside so many amazing young people striving to make sense of a world in which the adults had largely let them down.

I was fortunate to benefit from all the training the school provides and completed a Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Work with Children and Young People, I also became a qualified Team Teach instructor, training many of the staff at the school. I still work closely with the school running training courses on behalf of the Mulberry Bush Outreach Team throughout many settings in and around Oxfordshire.

I have really enjoyed delivering Team Teach training in many schools and different settings over the last few years, and my aim in setting up EMM Training in Positive Behaviour is so that I can work with a range of organisations in and around the counties of Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucester and West Berkshire.
